Telx takes DataGryd data center space at 60 Hudson
Reporting directly to Kazuhiro Gomi, NTT America’s President and CEO, Eldredge will be responsible for overseeing product and service delivery of NTT Com’s Enterprise Cloud in the US, product and service delivery for managed hosting, colocation solutions and NTT Com’s US data centers, as well as product mapping and strategic business planning. Chris brings an ideal blend of executive management, corporate strategy and financial experience to NTT America, along with a proven track record of driving revenue growth at a number of companies within the data center and telecommunications space, Gomi said. We’re confident he will hit the ground running, spearheading the continued growth of our Data Center Services Business Unit, and uphold the high quality delivery of our superior products and services to our customers. His additional responsibilities will include full profit and loss accountability, driving business development activities with system integrator partners, and directing new business strategy for data center services.

Telx selects TE Connectivity’s fiber solutions for new data center
DataGryd’s current total power capacity at the site is 27MW. Telx operates the largest network-interconnection area in the building. It provides access to more than 400 network carriers, ISPs and enterprise networks, as well as access to financial-services networks at Google-owned 111 8th Ave., which is another major carrier hotel in Manhattan. With the additional space at 60 Hudson, Telx now has 620,000 sq ft across six facilities in the greater New York and New Jersey area. The square footage the company provided is gross square feet, which means not all of it is actual data center space.
